During December 2024, Visu focused on stabilizing secret management in the mosip/inji-config repository by reinstating the HSM keystore password configuration. Addressing a critical integration issue, Visu reverted a previous change to ensure the keystore password is now supplied securely via environment variables or a configuration server, preventing startup failures in HSM-enabled deployments. This work involved disciplined use of configuration management practices and careful version control, with all changes traceable in the commit history. Working primarily with Properties files, Visu enhanced the project’s security posture and deployment automation, aligning secret handling with compliance requirements across diverse deployment environments.
