During August 2025, Kennke focused on improving localization within the sbb-design-systems/lyne-components repository by addressing a translations gap in the SBB seat reservation component. Kennke identified missing STAFF_AREA translations in English, French, and Italian, and aligned these with the German term 'Zugpersonal' to ensure consistent terminology across all supported languages. Working primarily with TypeScript and applying internationalization best practices, Kennke’s fix enhanced cross-language consistency and reduced potential user confusion in multilingual deployments. Although the work centered on a single bug fix rather than new features, it demonstrated careful attention to detail and a methodical approach to quality assurance.
