Worked on enhancing the sbb-design-systems/lyne-components library by addressing a localization issue in the SBB seat reservation component. Focused on internationalization, the developer identified and resolved a translations gap by adding missing STAFF_AREA translations for English, French, and Italian, ensuring alignment with the German term 'Zugpersonal.' This fix improved cross-language consistency and reduced potential user confusion in multilingual deployments. The work was implemented using TypeScript and tracked through a dedicated pull request and commit, demonstrating attention to detail in both code quality and change management. No new features were added during this period, with efforts concentrated on bug resolution.
