Worked on the ibm-mas/ansible-devops repository to streamline the deployment process by introducing cert_manager for registry certificate management. This update removed the dependency on ibm.mas_devops.common_services, reducing configuration complexity and potential points of failure in the deployment pipeline. The approach focused on simplifying YAML-based infrastructure as code and integrating Kubernetes with cert-manager, resulting in a more maintainable and reliable deployment workflow. Leveraging Ansible and DevOps practices, the work emphasized maintainability-focused refactoring and live updates to deployment scripts. No bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on delivering a targeted feature that improved deployment reliability and maintainability.
