January 2026 monthly summary for bcgov/lear focused on production readiness, data integrity, and reliability enhancements to enable safe live operations and compliant reporting. Delivered three major features: Production Deployment Readiness for Live Operations (production configs across services), Data Validation and Submission Integrity for BN processes (address sanitization and stronger input validation), and Accurate UTC-based Annual Report Date Calculation and Testing (UTC-aligned dating logic and tests). Fixed a critical bug in the Feature Flag Service by removing teardown that caused cache issues, adding initialization checks, warnings, and unit tests. These deliveries improved deployment resilience, data quality, and operational reliability, reducing live-ops risk and ensuring regulatory timelines are met. Demonstrated capabilities in deployment configuration, input sanitization, UTC time handling, and comprehensive test coverage, delivering measurable business value: faster, safer deployments; higher data integrity; and improved confidence in annual filings.
