
Worked on the flipperdevices/u-boot repository to deliver a feature that enhances boot reliability and security for Capricorn-based embedded devices. Focused on consolidating U-Boot environment definitions into a unified capricorn_default.env file, this effort standardized device configuration and streamlined environment management. Leveraging expertise in bootloader development and embedded systems, the work enabled AHAB secure boot and integrated a watchdog mechanism to strengthen boot integrity and recovery. Updates to defconfig files ensured alignment with new security features. The implementation, primarily in C and Shell, improved maintainability and reduced the risk of compromised boot chains, supporting smoother deployment and robust device operation.
