Worked on enhancing the dock preview interaction for the end-4/dots-hyprland repository, focusing on improving the user experience during hover events. Addressed a persistent issue where the dock preview failed to appear after the initial hover by refining the visibility logic and stabilizing the hover state handling. Implemented a caching mechanism for the popup’s position, ensuring consistent and reliable preview behavior throughout user interactions. The work involved end-to-end delivery of these features using QML, with an emphasis on UI/UX design and front end development. These changes improved the reliability and responsiveness of the dock UI preview for users.
