Worked on the livekit/rust-sdks repository to address a critical issue in the Twirp client’s URL path handling. Focused on API development and networking using Rust, the developer delivered a targeted bug fix that ensures path segments are appended rather than overwritten in outgoing requests. This adjustment prevents data loss and incorrect routing, directly improving the reliability of client-server communication. The work also included updating the livekit-ffi dependency to maintain compatibility with the revised client behavior. By enhancing the correctness of request routing, the changes reduced operational risk and contributed to more stable production workloads within the Rust SDK.
