Wenlu developed the Fabric Usage Preview API for the test-repo-billy/azure-rest-api-specs repository, focusing on enhancing resource governance for Azure clients. Using Typescript and leveraging expertise in API development and cloud computing, Wenlu designed and implemented a new preview API that lists resource quotas alongside current usage and limits. The work included creating the Quota and QuotaName data models and extending the OpenAPI specification with a listUsages operation. This feature enables proactive cost management and capacity planning by providing improved visibility into quota consumption. The project demonstrates a focused, foundational contribution to Azure’s resource management capabilities within a short timeframe.
