Wenwen Wu contributed to the microsoft/presidio repository by expanding the international coverage of the PhoneRecognizer component. Focusing on Python and leveraging software development and testing skills, Wenwen developed and integrated new test cases for Japanese and Chinese mobile number formats. The approach involved extending test fixtures to allow regional overrides, enabling targeted JP and CN scenarios without altering the library’s default behavior. This work improved the reliability and global applicability of the Presidio Analyzer test suite, particularly for multinational deployments. Over the month, Wenwen’s efforts centered on increasing test coverage and stability, with no major bug fixes recorded during this period.
