Worked on the TeamNewPipe/NewPipe repository to enhance the stability and maintainability of Android UI components using Java and RecyclerView. Addressed a crash-prone issue in the StatisticsPlaylistFragment by introducing dynamic header view suppliers, which improved the reliability of header handling within RecyclerView adapters and contributed to a smoother user experience. Additionally, simplified the LocalItemListAdapter by removing an unused LayoutInflater, reducing code complexity and supporting easier future maintenance. The work focused on targeted improvements that both resolved a critical bug and streamlined the codebase, demonstrating a methodical approach to Android development and attention to long-term project health.
