Worked on the WikiTeq/Taqasta repository to deprecate and remove the Skinny extension, focusing on streamlining deployment and reducing ongoing maintenance requirements. The approach involved systematically eliminating Skinny-related code and references from both the Dockerfile and DockerSettings.php, ensuring that all deployment artifacts associated with the extension were thoroughly cleaned up. By updating configuration management and DevOps processes, the changes reduced the deployment surface and minimized future risk. Utilizing skills in configuration management and technologies such as Dockerfile and PHP, the work resulted in a leaner deployment pipeline and lowered the maintenance burden for future updates to the Taqasta project.
