Worked on the hashicorp/dev-portal repository to enhance the security and SEO of Vault documentation by implementing a feature that prevents restricted content from being indexed or included in sitemaps. Used React for front end development and applied JavaScript and TypeScript to add logic that inserts a noindex header for restricted Vault documentation paths. Developed automated tests to validate both the noindex and sitemap exclusion behaviors, ensuring compliance with security and search engine guidelines. No major bugs were addressed during this period, but the work established a foundation for broader rollout and ongoing quality assurance of documentation access controls.
