During January 2025, Wittrock upgraded the Fuchsia test environment for the denoland/chromium_build repository, focusing on modernizing test infrastructure rather than addressing bug fixes. He transitioned test dependencies from deprecated terminal images to the current workbench image, aligning the project with the latest Fuchsia SDK components. This work, involving build system configuration and Fuchsia development, aimed to streamline setup processes and improve test reliability. Wittrock utilized CML and related tooling to lock and update subpackage test dependencies, reducing flakiness in automated testing. The depth of this feature work reflects a targeted approach to infrastructure stability and future-proofing the development workflow.
