Worked on configuring the TMDS64EVM board’s serial ports within the psleng/nexus-build repository to improve boot-time serial communication and remote debugging. Focused on build system configuration and embedded systems, the work involved switching the default console to ttyS3, removing ttyS0, and adding a new ttyS2 device at 115200 baud. This streamlined the serial console setup, enabling more reliable communication and faster troubleshooting during early boot stages. The implementation was delivered as a single, well-scoped Shell commit with clear traceability, supporting maintainability and auditability. No bugs were fixed during this period, with efforts concentrated on this targeted feature enhancement.
