Worked on the anthropics/claude-code repository to restore and enhance automated deduplication workflows for managing duplicate GitHub issues. Addressed a key bug by implementing scripts using TypeScript and YAML, leveraging GitHub Actions to automate the identification and backfilling of duplicate comments. This approach improved the reliability of issue tracking and reduced the need for manual triage, ensuring that both existing and new duplicates are consistently managed. Focused on API integration and automation, the work included careful testing to reconcile current issues and streamline future processes, resulting in faster duplicate resolution and a clearer, more maintainable project backlog.
