During October 2025, Jingwen enhanced the noQ-sweden/noq_backend_python repository by implementing a user profile phone number field in the backend. This feature extended the existing data model to support phone-based contact and validation, addressing needs for improved account recovery, user notifications, and higher data quality. Jingwen approached the task using Python and Django, focusing on robust backend development and careful database management to ensure seamless integration with existing user data. The work demonstrated a targeted, foundational improvement to the product’s core data capabilities, reflecting a depth of understanding in backend systems and a methodical approach to evolving user requirements.
