Worked on the microsoft/markitdown repository to enhance the reliability of CSV file processing in the plaintext converter, focusing on cross-platform compatibility. Addressed a critical issue with Windows MIME type detection, ensuring that CSV files are correctly identified and handled during data conversion. Utilized Python for debugging and issue resolution, aligning the fix with tracked issues and referencing related discussions for traceability. This work improved the stability of CSV plaintext conversion on Windows, reducing user-facing errors and supporting business needs for dependable data processing. Demonstrated technical proficiency in MIME type handling, collaborative debugging, and Python-based data processing within a team environment.
