During a one-month period, contributed to the home-assistant/core repository by developing a Meteo.lt Weather Service Integration. This feature enabled Home Assistant users to access location-based weather data for Lithuania, expanding the platform’s regional coverage and supporting more localized automation. The integration was implemented using Python, with a focus on robust API integration and asynchronous programming to ensure efficient data retrieval and responsiveness. Backend development practices and unit testing were applied to maintain code quality and reliability. No major bugs were reported or fixed during this period, reflecting a targeted effort on feature delivery and enhancement of user experience for Lithuanian users.
