Worked on the hoppscotch/hoppscotch repository to improve localization quality by correcting a user-facing typo in an internationalization (i18n) string. The patch focused on ensuring accurate translations and consistent messaging across all supported locales, directly addressing potential user confusion and reducing support overhead. Applied semantic commit messaging and adhered to established i18n guidelines, with thorough validation to maintain localization consistency. Utilized JavaScript and TypeScript within the codebase, following best practices for clean, well-documented patches. The work demonstrated attention to detail in UI text accuracy and facilitated future localization audits by maintaining high code quality and clear documentation throughout the process.
