During their recent work on the sonic-net/sonic-mgmt repository, Xiaohu Hu focused on stabilizing the OQ watchdog test for Cisco devices by addressing a platform-specific bug. Using Python scripting and leveraging skills in device configuration and network testing, Xiaohu modified the test logic to conditionally skip MAC address changes for Cisco platforms, which previously caused unintended side effects and test flakiness. This targeted fix improved continuous integration reliability and aligned test behavior with hardware requirements. By isolating TD2-specific logic from Cisco tests, Xiaohu enhanced the maintainability of the codebase, enabling safer future platform adaptations and more robust automated testing workflows.
