Worked on the sonic-net/sonic-mgmt repository to address a platform-specific issue affecting the OQ watchdog test for Cisco devices. Using Python scripting and network testing skills, implemented a targeted bug fix that conditionally skips MAC address modification when running tests on Cisco hardware. This approach prevented unintended side effects caused by logic originally intended for TD2 devices, resulting in more stable and reliable continuous integration outcomes. The solution improved test maintainability by isolating platform-specific behavior, making future updates safer and more manageable. Focused on device configuration and test reliability, the work contributed to aligning test processes with hardware requirements.
