Worked on security hardening for the facebook/lexical repository by addressing vulnerabilities in development tooling. Focused on upgrading webpack-dev-server and vitest to mitigate exposure to known CVEs, ensuring safer builds and test runs in both CI pipelines and local development environments. The approach involved careful dependency management and validation of compatibility across examples, maintaining stability without introducing runtime feature changes. Utilized JavaScript and JSON to implement and verify these updates, with changes documented through co-authored commits for traceability.
