During December 2025, Alex contributed to the symfony/ai-store repository by developing the Document-Inclusive Query Responses feature. This work enabled the inclusion of document metadata and content within query results, enhancing the richness and utility of returned data for downstream analytics and integrations. Alex approached the task by designing new data structures and implementing a clean API surface in PHP, focusing on robust back end development and thorough unit testing. The feature established a foundation for document-aware analytics by supporting metadata extraction and content inclusion, addressing the need for more informative and actionable query responses without introducing major bugs during the period.
