Worked on expanding Cloud SQL capabilities in the GoogleCloudPlatform/magic-modules repository by implementing support for connection pooling configuration, including schema design, expansion and flattening logic, feature flag enablement, and comprehensive integration tests. Addressed a critical bug to ensure Managed Connection Pooling (MCP) could be enabled without API rejections, and enhanced test coverage to validate updates to MCP-enabled settings. Contributed practical configuration examples and documentation in terraform-google-modules/terraform-docs-samples, demonstrating usage patterns for MySQL and PostgreSQL. Leveraged Go, Terraform, and HCL to deliver robust infrastructure as code solutions that improve deployment reliability and accelerate customer adoption of Cloud SQL features.
