Worked on stability improvements for the Agent Handoffs feature in the LibreChat repository, focusing on restoring reliable default behavior for agent instructions. Addressed a bug where empty handoff fields could be submitted as empty strings, which previously disrupted fallback logic. Implemented a targeted fix in React and TypeScript to normalize these fields to undefined, ensuring that default prompts and descriptions are correctly applied when no input is provided. The update also included resolving lint errors to enhance code quality and maintainability. This work improved data integrity and reduced edge-case failures, contributing to a smoother user experience in front end development.
