Worked on the OfficeDev/microsoft-teams-library-js repository to simplify the OpenStageView API, focusing on reducing complexity for client applications. Used TypeScript and front end development skills to make the threadId parameter in StageViewParams optional, which streamlined API invocation and reduced the need for repetitive validation code. This targeted change preserved existing behavior while lowering the barrier for feature adoption across different clients. By removing unnecessary validation around threadId and title, the work enabled more flexible and accessible use of Stage View functionality. The approach emphasized maintainability and developer experience, resulting in a single, well-scoped feature delivered during the month.
