Yifan Li developed Bartlett Lake P-core support for the intel_pmc_core driver in the geerlingguy/linux repository, enabling the new hardware to be recognized under the existing Raptor Lake model naming. Working in C, Yifan focused on driver and kernel programming to ensure seamless integration with the current PMC infrastructure and naming conventions. The targeted patch was designed with minimal surface area, reducing the risk of downstream impact and simplifying validation for release readiness. Although the work spanned a single feature over one month, it demonstrated careful attention to compatibility and maintainability, addressing a specific hardware enablement need without introducing regressions.
