Worked on the sonic-net/sonic-mgmt repository to deliver a fixture that ensures LLDP application database convergence before test execution. Addressed a recurring issue where LLDP-related tests failed due to insufficient convergence time by implementing logic that waits for the LLDP control output to stabilize, thereby reducing flaky CI runs and improving test reliability. Utilized Python for fixture development, applying networking and testing expertise to resolve LLDP syncd synchronization failures. Maintained disciplined commit hygiene throughout the process, focusing on targeted changes that enhance continuous integration feedback. The work demonstrated a methodical approach to improving automated test stability in a complex networking environment.
