During December 2025, Yoogoc contributed to both the lakekeeper/lakekeeper and longbridge/gpui-component repositories, focusing on Rust-based UI and backend development. In lakekeeper, Yoogoc addressed a security and data integrity issue by updating the Actor Principal encoding to use URL-encoded strings, which improved the accuracy of OpenFGA entity representation and strengthened authorization modeling. For longbridge/gpui-component, Yoogoc enhanced the Tree Component by adding a method to select items by reference, streamlining user interactions and improving UI usability. The work demonstrated a balanced approach to both frontend and backend challenges, with clear, maintainable code and thoughtful cross-repository collaboration.
