Zhao developed two production features across apache/flink-cdc and TEN-framework/ten_framework, focusing on robust data integration and real-time interaction. For apache/flink-cdc, Zhao engineered an OceanBase pipeline connector in Java and YAML, enabling end-to-end data synchronization with automatic table creation, schema evolution support, and at-least-once delivery semantics. In TEN-framework/ten_framework, Zhao built a Python extension integrating the OceanBase PowerRAG Chat API, supporting streamed chat responses and configurable extension properties for flexible downstream workflows. Both projects emphasized asynchronous programming, API integration, and comprehensive documentation, reflecting a strong grasp of software architecture and a focus on maintainable, extensible solutions for complex data systems.
