Worked on the root-project/root repository to design and implement a centralized camera management system for 3D visualizations, introducing the REveCamera component with support for both perspective and orthographic projections. Leveraging C++ and JavaScript, the work decoupled camera logic from global state, improving testability and enabling future multi-camera scenarios. Enhanced the camera control system by adding server-side matrix handling, lifecycle management, and robust state synchronization between client and server. Addressed rendering stability by reverting development-specific configurations and ensuring backward compatibility. The contributions focused on software architecture, 3D graphics programming, and UI development, resulting in more maintainable and extensible camera controls.
April 2026 monthly summary for root-project/root: Key features delivered, major bugs fixed, overall impact, and technologies demonstrated focused on stability of rendering and enhanced camera controls.

January 2026 monthly summary for root-project/root: Delivered a new REveCamera component to centralize camera control for 3D visualizations, enabling both perspective and orthographic projections. Implemented client-side camera management, camera matrix handling, and integration with REveManager. Established default camera behavior (perspectiveXOZ) and added accessible camera API for SetCameraByElementId and GetCamera(). This work reduces coupling, improves testability, and lays groundwork for future multi-camera scenarios.
