During December 2025, Yizhe Zhang delivered a complete Simplified Chinese localization for the FreshRSS/FreshRSS repository, ensuring 100% translation coverage across the application. Working primarily in PHP, Yizhe focused on updating all user-facing text and contributor credits to support Chinese-speaking users, thereby improving accessibility and broadening the platform’s reach. The localization process involved careful translation management and integration of updates through version control, with stability maintained through ongoing quality assurance and minor maintenance. Although no major bugs were addressed during this period, the work demonstrated depth in localization and translation, highlighting Yizhe’s proficiency in PHP and internationalization workflows.
