During December 2024, work focused on enhancing the bbc/tsduck repository by implementing the --only-pid option for the Scrambler plugin. This feature enables targeted scrambling of a single Packet Identifier (PID) within a digital television service, providing more granular encryption control while preserving compatibility with the existing plugin architecture. The development involved core logic updates and seamless integration with the command line interface, all written in C++. Documentation was updated to clearly describe the new option and its behavior. The work demonstrated a strong understanding of embedded systems and plugin development, delivering a focused feature without introducing regressions or instability.
