During April 2025, Zaptot upgraded the build system for the dataform-co/dataform repository by migrating to Webpack 5.94.0. This work involved updating build configurations, refining how build outputs are handled, and synchronizing dependency versions in yarn.lock to ensure consistency across environments. By focusing on build tools and dependency management with JavaScript, Zaptot improved the reliability and compatibility of the build process, particularly for downstream CI pipelines. The upgrade reduced tooling friction and mitigated potential release blockers, supporting faster deployments and smoother onboarding for contributors. No major bugs were reported, reflecting a focused and stable engineering contribution during this period.
