Developed and delivered expanded OpenWrt support for three router models by adding device trees and configuration files in the DragonBluep/openwrt repository, enabling reliable operation on ELECOM WRC-X3000GST2, ELECOM WMC-C2533GST, and Buffalo WSR-2533DHP3. Leveraged existing OpenWrt components and reused known-good Wi-Fi calibration data to accelerate porting and reduce risk. Focused on robust firmware development and Linux kernel integration, implementing dual-boot recovery and flashing flows to minimize device brick risk and preserve user settings during upgrades. Validated end-to-end functionality, including LAN, WAN, and dual-band Wi-Fi, using C, Makefile, and Shell scripting within embedded systems environments.
Month: 2026-05. Focused on expanding hardware compatibility and strengthening upgrade reliability by delivering OpenWrt support for three routers and hardening flashing/recovery flows. Key decisions leveraged existing OpenWrt components to minimize risk and time-to-value for users and partners.
