Developed and delivered a custom local thread runtime hook export for the assistant-ui/assistant-ui repository, enabling the useLocalThreadRuntime hook to support custom local runtime logic within client applications. Focused on ensuring compatibility with the existing useRemoteThreadListRuntime hook, the work streamlined integration and reduced friction for runtime customization. The implementation leveraged React hooks and TypeScript, emphasizing maintainable API design and clear surface exports. By establishing a foundation for future local and remote runtime strategies, the contribution enhanced extensibility and adaptability in front-end development workflows. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on feature delivery and integration.
