Worked on the jxxghp/MoviePilot repository to enhance the automatic organization pipeline by resolving a bug related to poster localization. Addressed an issue where posters were not consistently fetched and saved in their original language, which previously led to inconsistencies across language variants. Utilized Python to debug automation workflows and manage file handling, ensuring that the correct poster metadata is now reliably associated with each movie or TV show. This improvement reduced the need for manual corrections and improved localization accuracy for international users. Demonstrated skills in API integration, web scraping, and repository-level change management to support better metadata quality.
