OpenITI/FASDH25 — April 2025: Key feature delivered dynamic gazetteer-based loading and analytics for place names. Implemented loading from a gazetteer file (replacing hardcoded patterns) and added analytics to count occurrences across multiple articles with printed results. No major bugs reported. Overall impact: improves data accuracy and scalability of geographic analytics, reduces maintenance, and enables batch-processing of place-name data. Technologies/skills: Python scripting, data processing, refactoring, file-based data integration, and simple analytics reporting.
