Worked on the crossoverJie/starrocks repository to deliver a feature optimizing edit logging during schema evolution in shared-data clusters. Developed the Edit Log Shadow Copy mechanism, introducing a getShadowCopy method to avoid deep copying entire job objects when logging schema changes. This approach reduced the size of data written to the edit log and improved performance, particularly in environments with frequent schema modifications. Focused on backend development and database management using Java, the work emphasized performance optimization and maintainability. No major bug fixes were recorded during this period, with efforts concentrated on enhancing logging efficiency for fast-evolving cluster scenarios.
