Worked on the OfficeDev/microsoft-teams-library-js repository to deliver keyboard accessibility enhancements focused on supporting function key shortcuts. Extended the isValidShortcutEvent logic in TypeScript to recognize function keys F1 through F24 as valid shortcuts, ensuring their behavior aligns with existing modifier keys and the Escape key. Developed comprehensive tests to verify that function key events, such as F5 keydown, are correctly forwarded to the host application, thereby improving keyboard navigation reliability. Emphasized front end development and testing best practices to maintain code quality and strong test coverage, ultimately enhancing user experience and productivity for enterprise users of the Teams library.
