During March 2026, Near Kingzero focused on enhancing the stability of the felixonmars/treeland repository by addressing a critical issue in the SurfaceContainer QML context. Leveraging expertise in C++, QML, and the Qt framework, Near refactored the context setup to ensure the engine root context was consistently used, effectively reducing crash risk and improving UI reliability. The work emphasized code health by introducing clearer commit messages and improved logging, which aids future debugging and maintainability.
