During March 2026, Ziqi Yang developed a native macOS WiFi sensing integration for the RuView repository, focusing on real-time collection of RSSI and noise metrics. Leveraging Swift and Python, Ziqi built a CoreWLAN-based adapter and a Swift utility to poll WiFi metrics, which was then integrated into the existing Python-driven sensing pipeline. This work enhanced RuView’s network analytics by improving the quality and timeliness of collected data, laying the foundation for real-time metrics streaming and proactive network optimization. The project demonstrated depth in full stack development and network programming, with an emphasis on robust feature delivery and pipeline stability.
