
Worked on backend and DevOps improvements across getsentry/vroom and getsentry/self-hosted, focusing on profiling data management and metric accuracy. In getsentry/vroom, addressed inaccuracies in flamegraph metrics by reverting a previous change, restoring correct average computations and maintaining dashboard data integrity. For getsentry/self-hosted, migrated profiling data ingestion from local storage to SeaweedFS, enabling shared access for Sentry and Vroom and improving scalability. Implemented ingestion pipeline updates using Go, bash, and yaml, and configured Docker environments to support the new architecture. Collaborated through code reviews and coordinated cross-team changes, emphasizing disciplined change management and robust performance analysis throughout the process.
