During December 2025, Toyboy2 enhanced the tuist/tuist repository by introducing a .project structure within the Tuist initializer, aiming to improve the organization of project configurations and dependencies. This work involved refactoring the CLI and migrating test fixtures to support the new structure, ensuring consistent scaffolding for future development and testing. By leveraging Swift and focusing on CLI development and project management, Toyboy2 laid the groundwork for more maintainable codebases and streamlined onboarding processes. The changes addressed challenges in multi-repo setups, enabling more reliable continuous integration and scalable project management, and demonstrated a thoughtful approach to structural code improvements.
