Worked on enhancing the user experience of the Nix REPL in the NixOS/nix repository by improving the visibility of the continuation prompt for incomplete expressions. Addressed a common source of user confusion by replacing invisible spaces with a clear prompt, making it easier for users to recognize when additional input is required. The solution was implemented in C++ with a focus on command-line interface and REPL development, following clean commit practices and thorough documentation. This targeted feature supports smoother onboarding and daily workflows for both new and experienced users, reflecting attention to usability and collaborative open source contribution standards.
