Worked on the percona/percona-helm-charts repository to enhance Kubernetes Helm chart deployment by enabling cluster-wide application of RBAC through the removal of namespace scoping from the ClusterRole. Focused on improving maintainability and reducing misconfiguration risks by correcting YAML indentation and enhancing readability within the chart’s configuration files. Delivered these updates as part of a version bump from 1.6.1 to 1.6.2, streamlining multi-namespace deployments and simplifying future upgrades. Utilized DevOps practices and leveraged skills in Helm, Kubernetes, and YAML to ensure the chart is better prepared for ongoing enhancements and more flexible deployment scenarios across Kubernetes clusters.
