Developed Graphite querying capabilities for the grafana/mcp-grafana repository, enabling users to list metrics, perform metric queries, and analyze metric density for enhanced observability in Graphite-based monitoring environments. The implementation followed a test-driven development approach, with comprehensive end-to-end integration tests ensuring reliability and correctness of the new features. Documentation was thoroughly updated to guide users on the expanded Graphite functionalities and their usage. The work focused on backend and API development using Go, emphasizing maintainability and clarity. These enhancements streamline metric analysis and accelerate issue diagnosis, contributing to more effective monitoring workflows without introducing any bug fixes during the period.
