Worked on the Kommunicate-Web-SDK repository to deliver a robust Talk to Human escalation flow, enabling direct messaging to human agents and enhancing the user interface for reliable feature activation. Refactored last-message detection logic to leverage native DOM manipulation, resulting in improved performance and responsiveness. Addressed a bug related to chat context preservation by ensuring KM_CHAT_CONTEXT was properly stringified and included in message metadata, maintaining conversation state across messages. Utilized JavaScript and front end development skills to streamline escalation paths, reduce agent handoff time, and increase the reliability of chat interactions, focusing on both feature delivery and code maintainability.
