During December 2025, contributed to the Homebrew/homebrew-core repository by developing a new formula for the Umoci OCI Tool, version 0.6.0. This work involved implementing both installation and test procedures within the Ruby-based packaging system, ensuring that users could reliably install and verify the tool’s functionality for managing OCI images. The approach included integrating Go and Ruby skills to align the formula with Homebrew’s CI and testing standards, thereby improving reliability for developers and continuous integration workflows. By focusing on package management best practices, the contribution reduced installation friction and enhanced user confidence in deploying OCI tooling via Homebrew.
