Worked on the tier4/autoware_launch repository to deliver a passenger visualization enhancement in RViz, focusing on improving how passenger data is displayed for better operator situational awareness. Developed a new RViz configuration file using YAML, enabling a configuration-driven approach that allows for easier tuning and ongoing maintenance of visualization settings. Leveraged skills in ROS and RViz configuration to integrate the new feature into the existing Autoware visualization pipeline. The work addressed the need for clearer, more useful passenger-related information in the RViz environment, supporting quicker diagnostics and more effective monitoring without introducing major bug fixes during the development period.
