Chris Ding enhanced the tier4/scenario_simulator_v2 repository by streamlining its CI/CD workflows and improving code coverage reporting. Focusing on build automation and maintainability, Chris introduced SonarCloud integration to generate more accurate coverage reports and refined the GitHub Actions pipelines using Shell and YAML. The work included removing unnecessary dependencies, such as the build-wrapper-linux-x86.zip, and cleaning up workflow triggers and debug statements to reduce CI noise. These changes resulted in a more efficient build process and faster feedback cycles. Over the course of one month, Chris delivered two features that improved the reliability and clarity of the project’s release process.
